Mbuluzi Game Reserve is a 3000-hectare bushveld paradise in northeast Swaziland and part of the larger Lubombo Conservancy. Mbuluzi Camp Site is privately situated along the Mlawula River where visitors are free to relax or explore the game reserve at their own pace.
The campsite is rustic, spaciously set out amongst shady trees. Preserving the feel of the African Bush, the campsite has no electricity. There are clean toilets and showers, hot water being provided by lighting a fire under the 'donkey-boiler'. Firewood is provided. There are several reed enclosures for campers to make use of. These each have a water stand pipe and a braai [barbecue] grid.
There are also two very private camp sites located a short distance from the main camp overlooking the Mbuluzi River.
The Mbuluzi Game Reserve is also part of a new initiative which will see a number of Eco Trails developed within the Lubombo Mountains. Eco walks and treks will be opened up, to allow visitors to explore the area better on foot, as well connect to local projects and communities. Click here for more information.
