About the STA
The Swaziland Tourism Authority (STA) is mandated to market the kingdom of Swaziland as travel destination of choice within the country, regionally and overseas.

The STA was established by an act of parliament, the Tourism Authority, Act of 2001. It was established as a public enterprise. In terms of the Act the following objectives have been determined for STA:
  • Develop the tourism sector  as a national priority in an environmentally sustainable and culturally acceptable  manner,
  • Coordinate and facilitate the implementation of government policies and strategies on tourism,
  • Market Swaziland as a tourism destination through the provision of a platform for industry stakeholders,
  • Encourage, facilitate and promote local and foreign investment in the tourism industry, and
  • Ensure the contribution of tourism to the socio-economic development and continued improvement of quality of life in the Kingdom of Swaziland

Swaziland Official Tour Guides Course 
Swaziland's only Official Tour Guides Course comes with the backing of the country's Tourism Authority and its tourist Industry. The costs of the course are minimal and so it offers a great opportunity for tour guides to gather an in-depth knowledge of the country and to become official accredited. Swaziland Tourism Excellence Awards
The Swaziland Tourism Authority (STA) has launched Tourism Excellence Awards for the tourist industry in Swaziland. The awards are an integral part of STA's efforts to raise the tourism sector's competitiveness by inspiring organisations and individuals to create compelling experiences. National Tourism Bill 2018

This website is run by Geo Group on behalf of the Swaziland Tourism Authority. Geo Group is appointed by the STA as their representatives, to market Swaziland as a tourist destination to the travel trade, travel media and the holidaying public the world over. This is done through a variety of platforms and activities of which this site is just one. All members of Swaziland's travel industry are encouraged to engage with Geo Group so as to ensure their own involvement in these activities and maximise the exposure and marketing of their own products.
